Yep!

I have to be honest. I DID NOT think I was going to make it this far. That's what I get for having expectations. You know that saying, Practice what you preach, follow your own advice, yadda yadda yadda. I need to listen to myself. ;) I have always said babies will come when they are ready, we can do everything to try to push labor but they wont come until they are ready. I DO believe that I guess I just thought well you know.
I went into labor with Taylor 9 days early and she was born in the wee hours of the morning on the 8th day. The way this pregnancy has gone I just assumed or expected it to be the same. I expected her to be early. Well early has come and gone and she is still cooking. I have a theory. Taylor was always a little firecracker during the ultrasounds and always kicked the Doppler when they were getting her heartbeat. She was unexpectedly early, she was ready to rock and roll. She has been like this with EVERYTHING, slept through the night in her own room at a month old, walked at 10 months, off the bottle by a year, potty trained before her 2nd birthday. She has done everything with ease, well except her little firecracker personality. This little baby in my belly well she slept through her ultrasounds, we would wake her and move around and she would just be content in whatever new position I put her in. Never an issue with her heartbeat. So I'm thinking she might just sleep through her due date. The thought of that makes me crazy. I know I'm crazy to even expect her to be early but I just did and with 5 days to go I'm just not sure if she will be making her appearance any time soon. lol I know this is out of my control so I'm just going to wait patiently, well I will try very hard to be patient. I have done allot of walking, shopping, stairs and cleaning. Today I cleaned the baseboards, the walls, the floors, the bathrooms, laundry you name it I'm doing it. My back hates me and this baby just slept right through it all. sigh.
I'm now going to try the opposite. I'm going to park my butt on the couch, finally get to those thank you cards I have been putting off and patiently await her arrival.
Brooklyn, can you just please hurry up. Please please please! Mommy and Daddy are ready to meet you

36 weeks!

Woooaah Sorry about the mess in this picture. I was getting ready to go somewhere. And lets be honest. Im 36 weeks pregnant, Im having a little bit of a hard time keeping everything tidy. Its just a little difficult and do you see the size of me, well Im tired.

A busy weekend...

That left Monday morning very difficult to tackle. I had my cup of coffee and Im still in dream land. Wishing I was someother place then here, at work. Trying to accomplish what I need to, to walk out of here on Friday feeling good about it. Its going to be a busy week and Im not sure if Im up for it.

A few things that happened this weekend....

I walked around the mall for 3 hours so Cole could spend his Holiday gift cards. I wasnt even as tired as when I leave target or walmart! Yaaa me!!

I bought myself a pair of very comfy very cute boots that I am proud of and they were half the price at the register than I thought! SCORE!! That I love ;)

My baby shower came and went. It was awesome. My sister did an amazing job and everything ran so smoothly. Baby Brooklyn was spoiled and we are that much more ready. I have a few necessities on my list to get and we will really be ready. (More on the shower later, complete with pictures)

I got to take a nap after the shower and stayed home from baseball to start to conquer the pile of gifts taking up space. Now I just have piles of gifts that are now unwrapped, bags folded, tissue folded, washing piles ready. Exchange piles ready. We are getting there.

Braved the cold to watch some baseball. Our Best Speed boys did awesome and WON the tournament!! We are sooooo proud of them! Cole is almost hitting the balls out of the park, this is an accomplishment. In little league he hit them out all the time. Then they boys age out and move to the bigger field. Farther fences. Hes working on it, I give him a couple more months he will clear the fence.

Taylor brought her precious snow globe hidden in her bag to the complex. One bad move and the bag was on the concrete, snow water everywhere. Ggrrrrrrr. Note to self, check bags at all times.

Taylor came out of the bathroom with a HUGE rose tattooed on her cheek. What the.....!!!!! Where did you get that? "In my purse Mommy!" Note to self, always check her bags!!

We ended the weekend with dinner at my sister in laws to celebrate my Mother in Laws birthday!! Happy Birthday!!! YUMMY YUMMMYY dinner!!!
